Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad hits Air India staffer with his slipper during spat over seating

"The MP turned violent, broke the duty manager's spectacles, tore his shirt and hit him with slippers several times", an airline source said.

Gaikwad, who has been unapologetic about the incident yesterday, had earlier today said that he will be taking the Air India flight this evening.

The incident of Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad beating an Air India staffer has shocked the nation.
