Republicans have only 52 seats in the Senate. "And I urge my colleagues to do the same".

After reviewing a number of the judge's decisions in the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Casey said powerful interests are disproportionately the beneficiaries "while workers, consumers and those with disabilities are the losers". Such a deal would give Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer a preemptive veto over the next Supreme Court nominee.

Addressing Republicans, Schumer said if Gorsuch "cannot earn 60 votes, a bar met by each of President Obama's nominees and George Bush's last two nominees, the answer isn't to change the rules".

Udall has said he would not support any Supreme Court nominee who would support overturning Roe v. Wade, the landmark case which legalized abortion.

When asked about what Republicans would do if Senate Democrats attempt to block the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch, McCain had a simple answer: "I think we'll address it when it happens".

There seems to be universal confusion in the Democratic camp about the role of the judiciary, and instead, Gorsuch has been questioned as though he would serve as an extension of the legislative branch. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., also voiced concerns about Gorsuch late Friday but stopped short of saying he would oppose his nomination.

But if Schumer manages to stop the nomination via an early April filibuster vote, it could force Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to try to get Gorsuch through using the so-called nuclear option.

"I am not going to start to tell Sen".

Settling the higher or lower seed debate of March Madness
While it's easy to look at the matchup and scream "Dunk City is back baby" at the top of your lungs, that isn't really the case. He has committed only 35 turnovers in Iowa State's 33 games, and has four points-assists double-doubles this season.
