Melanie "Mel B" Brown has filed a temporary restraining order against Stephen Belafonte, claiming that he beat, threatened and exploited her throughout their almost 10-year- marriage, PEOPLE confirms. In addition, Brown claimed in her paperwork that Belafonte physically attacked her and took "millions of dollars" from her.

Spice Girl Mel B claims her estranged husband brutally beat her any time she achieved success and sexually exploited her.

Belafonte has apparently now left Mel's home in Hollywood Hills on a judge's orders as of Monday.

Other claims include Mel saying that Stephen has sex tapes of the pair and has repeatedly threatened to release them.

Civil rights groups alarmed over retreat on police reforms
In New Orleans, the man appointed to oversee the reforms of that city's police department said the agreement there still stands. Would Baltimore be in a position to be able to afford a consent decree?

The abuse was reportedly not only physical - Belafonte would allegedly yell things like "die b***h" - but it was also sexual. Every time I tried, the Respondent threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every way. He ultimately forced the nanny to get an abortion and paid her over $300,000 of Mel B's money "for alleged nanny services".

In 2012, Ms Brown posted a photo of herself with a bruise on her chin, claiming she fell while running.

Mr Belafonte, a 41-year-old film producer, told TMZ that the explosive allegations were a fabrication, shaking his head as he was told of her accusations.

She also claims that he got their nanny pregnant.

Germany approves bill curbing online hate crime, fake news
Germany's justice minister said hate speech posed a grave danger to harmonious living in a free, open and democratic society. The companies would have 24 hours to remove any posts that openly flout German law after they are flagged by users.

TMZ asked Belafonte about the allegations on camera, and he said that the allegations against him are untrue. He reportedly said he wanted to have the baby and "all three of us live together".

She also alleged Belafonte throttled her in 2007, the night she was a finalist on Dancing With The Stars.

The singer - who has five-year-old daughter Madison with Stephen - has stated she became so "overcome with emotional and physical exhaustion" in 2014 that she overdosed on a bottle of Aspirin.

Another allegation Mel B made is that he has a firearm, which in his case is illegal since he has a prior conviction of domestic violence against another woman.
