The budget now heads back to the Senate, which is all but certain to reject it, setting up a panel that will hash out the differences before the end of session.

Chris Sununu's $12.1 billion plan was the blueprint, but House budget writers made significant changes, including nixing $18 million for full-day kindergarten and giving $50 million to communities for property tax relief. After a final House vote Friday, the bipartisan Joint Budget Committee will work on reconciling the two versions.
