R. Kelly sued over alleged affair with government official’s wife

Hinds County, Mississippi Deputy Kenny Bryant is suing R. Kelly for boning his wife, Asia Childress, and giving her chlamydia. He says he suffered "emotional, psychological and financial loss" due to the actions of Kelly.

In the lawsuit, obtained by local outlet WAPT, Bryant claims his estranged wife Asia Childress had a relationship with Kelly but told him it had ended prior to the couple's wedding in 2012, but later that year the romance resumed after Childress attended one of Kelly's concerts.

Yikes! R. Kelly is known to be a ladies man, but apparently he messed with a married woman and now her husband is suing him in a MS civil court.

A few years into Bryant and Childress' marriage, Childress convinced her husband that the two of them should move to Atlanta, Georgia, in order to advance her career. "Childress contracted this sexual disease from her extramarital relationship with R. Kelly". During that time, he claims, Childress would run off to join Kelly on tour around nearby states.

Deputy Kenneth Bryant, who married Asia Childress in MS in 2012, filed suit last week in a county circuit court in Jackson, the state capital.

ABC News could not immediately reach Childress for comment. Bryant said he sacrificed a good job but that his wife really wanted to be closer to Kelly to pursue the affair.

Scattered showers through the weekend
Saturday night will still be cloudy with snow possible and a low of 25. - A low around 45 Monday night , with partly cloudy skies. MONDAY: Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms continue for Monday, with a mild high temperature of 70 degrees.

MS is one of only a handful of states that allow spouses to sue others for breaking up their marriages in what are called alienation of affection lawsuits.

Bryant claims that his efforts to rehabilitate the marriage failed because he 'could not prevail against R. Kelly's continued sexual overtures to Childress'.

R. Kelly has yet to respond to the lawsuit or the allegations.
