Nitish wears the crown, but Lalu rules Bihar: Paswan

The premises of two top opposition leaders, P. Chidambaram and Lalu Prasad, were on Tuesday raided by CBI and IT officials with Karti Chidambaram accused of getting pay-offs for helping a media company get FIPB clearance, while the former Bihar Chief Minister was accused of "benami" land deals - actions the opposition denounced as vendetta by the BJP-led central government.

The BJP had alleged that these transactions were a case of "quid pro quo" as they date back to the period when Lalu Prasad was the railway minister. Is it an Alliance to protect the corrupt, to give a cover to the rank corruption of its constituents?

One such land deal involving Lalu Prasad and his family members is in Bijwasan in Delhi, he said.

Timeless Renewed for Season Two! NBC Reverses Cancellation Decision
The network has renewed the Sony Pictures Television-produced time travel drama for a second season. Kripke and Ryan tweeted up a storm about the Timeless renewal, this morning.

As per a report in News18, the department began its raids on the houses of some prominent businessmen and real estate agents early in the morning. Let's wait to see what IT gets in the raids or if it is only a part of pressure against opposition leaders like Lalu Prasad, who have been attacking the RSS, BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prasad's daughter has bought nearly seven acres of land worth Rs 100 crores for just about 1.4 crores through mysterious business entities that have allowed her to make huge profits at their expense.

But RJD spokesperson Manoj Jha told newspersons here that Lalu meant the IT department as the BJP's new alliance partner. His sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav are ministers in the government. In a tweet soon after the Income Tax department sleuths raided his residence in New Delhi and Gurugram, Lalu tweeted, "I will not bow down. I will keep fighting against Fascist forces until my last breath". "I am not afraid of BJP tactics", he tweeted. Union Minister Piyush Goyal claimed that the BJP Government never comes in the way of law and that investigation agencies work independently. "Now, it is the turn of the Nitish Kumar Government to act against his ally, RJD leader Lalu Prasad and his two Minister sons, who have made land purchases in Bihar", he told reporters at Patna.

But skeptics say the move may be part of an image overhaul after Amazon's reputation has suffered in recent years. The state of homelessness in America continues to be an issue that doesn't receive the attention it deserves.

Modi, who was deputy CM under Nitish Kumar when the JD (U) and BJP ran a coalition government in Bihar, demanded that the benami properties be seized.

Ravi Shankar Prasad had also alleged that all the companies owned by Lalu and his family members had no employees, business activities or turnover.

Modi further informed that soon there will be more big revelations in the coming days.
