Avon and Somerset Constabulary says South West under 'no known specific threat' after London Bridge terror attack

British police have named the third London Bridge attacker as 22-year-old Youssef Zaghba and said he is believed to be an Italian national of Moroccan descent.

"We were all stuck!" said Marcia Rainford, a 58-year-old who said she was sealed into her building complex with her mother and two children.

Butt, a father-of-two who appeared on Channel 4 documentary The Jihadis Next Door, was also reported to the anti-terror hotline in 2015 for showing signs of "extremism or radicalisation".

Butt was investigated by officers in 2015 but they found no evidence he was planning an attack and he was "prioritised in the lower echelons of our investigative work", police said.

Seven people were killed and nearly 50 injured when three attackers ran down pedestrians on the bridge, then stabbed passers-by in nearby Borough Market.

Neighbors described Butt as an avid weightlifter and Transport for London confirmed he worked for London Underground in customer service before leaving last October.

Counter Protests And Rallys Draw Thousands In Portland
Officers say they want protesters to stay with their groups and not cross the street to escalate tensions. Police confiscated the bat, and he was then caught on camera clashing with counter-protesters.

Police said earlier that witness accounts suggested he might have been thrown into the river. He was apparently deemed not to pose an immediate risk, however, and he was not one of the roughly 500 people at the centre of active terrorism investigations.

Yet, Khan's supporters pushed back at Trump's assertion, noting that Khan was simply telling Londoners not to be afraid of the increased police presence as the city took necessary precautions.

Ms Stuart, who is co-head of the security and extremism unit at the Policy Exchange think tank, added: "The London Bridge attacker's connection to al-Muhajiroun's leadership raises very serious questions about the security services and the police". He was reported to be a pastry chef from Ireland.

"We are paying a heavy cost in these attacks", Macron said.

A vigil was held at Potters Field Park near London Bridge on Monday evening to remember the victims.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley urged anyone with information about the latest attack to come forward.

Curry is averaging 28.6 points in the playoffs and looks like a different player than the one who had a knee injury past year . He has hit just 38 percent of his shots as his normally reliable jumper has failed him. "I thought he did a good job of that".

Given the speed with which the attack was ended, it wasn't clear whether having more police on the beat would have prevented it, but questions persisted over whether investigators had the resources to look into such complaints and whether crucial opportunities were missed that could have saved lives.

The third attacker, Rachid Radouane, 30, also from Barking, was not known to the security services. Rowley defended the actions of his officers, claiming that "in nine weeks, we've had five plots foiled and three successful attacks. That is completely different to anything we have seen for a long time ... as the prime minister has indicated, we're going to need to do some things differently".

Security has become a key issue in the run-up to tomorrow's general election.

That fact provided a line of attack for Corbyn, who called on May to resign even as he said the best remedy was to vote her out.

The second terrorist was named as Rachid Redouane, 30, who police said had claimed to be both Moroccan and Libyan.

British police arrested a man under counter terrorism laws on Wednesday as part of an investigation into the London Bridge attack. Critics have said that if the goal is to better integrate Muslims into society, having police and domestic security officials take the lead is the wrong strategy - because Muslims fear that the programs are meant to spy on them, not help them.
