Comedy Central's "Broad City" has announced that it will edit out "Trump" in the upcoming season as though the name of the president were a profanity.

The show's no stranger to politics - in its third season, Ultimate Kween Clinton herself made a cameo, though Jacobson at the time said her appearance wasn't about "trying to make a statement". In fact, the POTUS is so reviled by the show's producers and creators that they've opted to have his name bleeped out - for the entire season.

A spokesperson for the show told BuzzFeed News that Trump's name, while spoken in that part of trailer, will be bleeped in the show. Although fans only hear the first word bleeped out in the sentence in the trailer, fans of the hit comedy show can expect to hear both words bleeped out when the show airs in late August.

But after "this game show host became president of our country", Glazer chose to take a different route.

"There's no airtime for this orange (person)", Glazer told USA Today. Specifically, one episode involved Glazer's character volunteering to campaign for Clinton.

Originally, Glazer and her co-creator Abbi Jacobson wrote the fourth season thinking the 2016 election would turn out differently. But after "this game-show host became president of our country, we rewrote a lot". The premise of the episode revolves around Glazer believing that she is a witch.

If you've ever been in need of a good, healthy dose of feminist vibes, witty one-liners and honest depictions of life as a millennial woman, then you've probably sought out Broad City for some comic relief in this dark world.
