Oxford college treasurer and US academic arrested in connection with Chicago murder

AN Oxford University worker wanted after the murder of a hairdresser has been arrested.

Mr. Lathem, a 42-year-old associate professor of microbiology and immunology at Northwestern, surrendered Friday evening to authorities in Oakland, California, and Mr. Warren, a 56-year-old Oxford employee, turned himself in to police in San Francisco, the spokesman said.

Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Chicago Police Department, said the hunt for Wyndham Lathem and Andrew Warren has "intensified and narrowed" and that investigators think they know where the men are or are heading.

Guglielmi said the victim was in a relationship with Lathem and knew Warren.

He was reported to be on the run with Professor Wynsham Lathem, 42, from Northwestern University in IL.

Trump defends national security adviser HR McMaster amid calls for his firing
Apparently, new White House chief of staff John Kelly is unable to stop the war, or is siding with McMaster against Bannon. President Donald Trump makes the announcement at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Wyndham Lathem was being sought in the freaky slaying of Trenton James Cornell-Duranleau, 26, whose body was found stabbed several times inside Lathem's Chicago apartment on July 27.

POLICE in America say they have an "idea" where Swindon murder suspect Andrew Warren is hiding after a manhunt was launched.

Chicago authoritites have revealed on August 4 that a video has surfaced in which Lathem reportedly apologized to friends and family for his alleged involvement in Cornell-Duranleau's death.

Speaking with USA Today, Mr Guglielmi said: "Police arrived at Lathem's apartment shortly after an employee at the building's front desk notified authorities of an anonymous call about a crime in the professor's apartment. We are also thankful that this did not end in further tragedy".

The two men are expected to first appear before a judge in California before their likely extradition to Chicago.

Tesla Model 3 Performance Version Due Next Year
Toyota Motor Corp. made more than 10 million vehicles a year ago . "A decade ago they were a little more than golf carts". Robin Santucci was one of the first in line to order a Model 3 at the Santa Monica, California, Tesla store in March 2016.

While there, one of them made a $1,000 (£766) cash donation to the public library there in Cornell-Duranleau's name.

"Cornell-Duranleau, who suffered multiple lacerations, was pronounced dead at the scene".

Police said that on the day of the slaying, but before the body had been discovered, Lathem and Warren drove about 80 miles northwest to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Lathem's passport and Warren's travel visa have been restricted, Guglielmi said.

In a freaky twist, police said that on that same day, before the body had been discovered, Lathem and Warren drove about 80 miles (128 kilometers) northwest to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where one of them made a $1,000 cash donation to the public library there in Cornell-Duranleau's name.
